Memory and place: Victorians’ digital stories
Australian Centre for the Moving Image
ACMI’s Memory and Place project seeks to explore the collective memory of
Victorians through the moving image. Accessed via an interactive map of
Victoria, short films (up to seven minutes) illustrate individual’s and
communities’ relationships to the places that are important to them. ACMI
actively seeks the stories of Victorians, regardless of their level of
film-making skills, in order to document Victoria’s living history.
