In 2001 a Draft manaagement plan was prepared for Horsehoe Bend, land on the Yarra River at Ivanhoe. This plan was for the development of an alternative roosting site for the grey-headed flying-fox at Ivanhoe as the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne were being inundated by the animal.
The DSE publication is now in the local history collection at Ivanhoe library. Efforts to locate a final plan have been unsatisfactory.
