As part of events for Local History Month, Nillumbik Historic Society in partnership with YPRL are running a tour of the Nillumbik Cemetery in Diamond Creek on Sunday November 25 at 2.00 pm.

Yan Yean Reservoir : Forum and Bus tour

Join Local Historian Lindsay Mann and Helen Doyle, joint author of "Yan Yean: a history of Melbourne's early water supply" for an inforamtive discussion about the construction and hisotry of one of Melbourne's major water supplies - the Yan Yean Reservoir. A major engineering feat of its time, the Reservoir was completed almost 150 years ago, on 31 December 1857. The discussion will be followed by lunch and a bus tour of the site
