Local pioneers listed on newly digitised records

The passenger list of the 1839 voyage of "David Clark" has been digitised as part of a pilot program at the State Records of NSW. Many of these passsengers settled in the Kangaroo Ground area, including the Bell family of Gulf Station, Yarra Glen.

State Records of NSW have released part of a pilot project to digitise the microfilm copies of the Persons on bounty ships (Agent's Immigrant Lists), 1838-96; Persons on bounty ships arriving at Port Phillip, 1839-51,and Germans on bounty ships, 1849-52.

Scroll through the digital copies of these lists, ship by ship, just as you would if you were going through a microfilm in the reading rooms. Please note however, that these digital copies are being provided as reference copies only.

State Records of NSW welcome feedback.
