New Local History Titles

New additions to the local history collections at Yarra Plenty Regional Library recently include:
As I recall: a collection of stories country to suburbia published by theGreensborough Historical Society.  Stories from long term residents ofGreensboroughWatsonia, Macleod, Bundoora, Grace Park, Montmorency and Briar Hill have been gathered together and reflect the development of the area over the years. 
Copies for loan are also available.  You can also purchase a copy direct from the Greensborough Historical Society
Whittlesea U3A have produced a publication to honour its tenth anniversary Now, then & in between  
Find it in the Mill Park Library local history collection.
The Nillumbik Historical Society have updated two of their publications including:
Pub Crawl: around Diamond Creek’ s historic pubs which was first published in 2001 and
Then came gold: a history of the Diamond Creek Gold Mine first published in 2001.  Find these titles in the local history collection at Diamond Valley Library.
Little bloody Jimmy: the ripples of my childhood by Jim Poulter who recounts his childhood growing up in Ivanhoe. Loan copies available
