Yarrambat Heritage Museum Open Day

The Yarrambat Heritage Museum is located at Yarrambat Park, Yan Yean Road, Yarrambat (enter via Golf Course main gate). Inspect the Gold Battery, Len Young Woolshed display and historic Yarrambat Primary School classroom. View a video chat with the late Len Young, former owner of Yarrambat Park as well as 1978 footage of the Yarrambat Centenary celebrations.
Browse the school enrolment registers which date back to 1878.
The Yarra Valley Machinery Preservation Society will have a display of vintage engines and machinery.
There will be sheep shearing demonstrations and running of the gold-mine battery.
Be there at 1pm for the official welcome and hear the "Gold" history speechs from the 2016 class of Yarrambat Primary School and presentation of the Dinnage family photo board.
