New additions to the collection at Mill Park library include:

Louie : 80 years from Weegena to Whittlesea. by Graham Murray. We are have been donated a privately published copy of this family history - the life of the author's mother Louie Margaret Murray who moved to Whittlesea township in 1950. The book has a local flavour with descriptions of Whittlesea township, now and then, and mentions of her involvement in the local community.

Scouts and Guides in the City of Whittlesea. Newspaper clippings from 1976-1978.

Yan Yean Reservoir. As we approach the 100th anniversary of the building of the reservoir this is a valuable addition to the collection including an essay on its construction by local historian Lesley Mann and other documents.

Australian Sports people commemorated by street names in the City of Whittlesea compiled by John Waghorn
A very handy resource for students wanting to know the origins of local street names.

Lalor Library Historical clippings relating to Lalor library following their 30th birthday celebrations in November last year.
